President Donald Trump is expected to sign the “Trump Tax” tax bill in the coming days, and on Thursday he will announce his intention to sign it.
The president is expected in the White House Rose Garden for the signing ceremony, according to White House officials.
Trump has promised to put the tax cut on the House floor in early February, but has not released a plan yet.
On Thursday, White House aides said the president is “working on the plan” and is “making sure it is well-received.”
The “Trump tax” bill is a massive tax cut for corporations and wealthy individuals, with a top rate of 39.6 percent and the top individual rate of 35 percent.
It will increase the corporate tax rate from 25 percent to 27 percent and increase the top personal rate from 39.1 percent to 39.9 percent.
The plan also includes a cut to the child tax credit.
